2011 Annual Meeting

This Monday, the 2011 Annual Meeting was held at PEC. 

Certificates of appreciation were presented to so many individuals and businesses making the 2011 Campaign a success, I simply don't have the space to mention them all.

When names are read out loud  there is a true realization that it took over an hour to read them and that we have a lot of community partners making a huge difference in the success of not only the annual United Way campaign, but so many valuable projects and activities in our community.

Anyone not in attendance that is in the Leadership Circle, a Loyal Contributor or a campaign volunteer please contact me @ the United Way office 580.332.2313 to schedule delivery or pick up.

Thank you to PEC for allowing us to use their fantastic meeting facilities and to OG&E for sponsoring our meal.

Wonderful week of success 01.21.11

This Friday (actually last Friday) ended a wonderful week of United Way partnerships and meetings. 
Monday  17th =
wonderful speaker in Ada sponsored by Smart Start South Central Jerry Tallo
the first meeting of the newly formed Ada Community Assistance Association
Tuesday 18th =
a great Board of Directors meeting discussing a variety of items to provide additional benefit to our local community in 2010
Wednesday 19th = 
volunteers in the ARUW office assisting with preparations for 01.24.11 Annual Meeting
Thursday 20th & Friday 21st =
finalizing the Annual Meeting and realizing how much our local community has accomplished in 2010

2010 Scrap Book memories

I spent this morning reviewing photos from 2010 and remembering all the fantastic things that have occurred in our local area.  So many individuals make such a difference when they partner with one another.

I hope you take a few minutes (well actually a little over 8) and watch this video scrap book so that we can share the fond memories of 2010 as we begin making great memories for 2011.
