Well - we had time to fit the event in between rain downpours; however, low turn out of participants.
We had several volunteers that braved the weather to help out.
Even though the numbers were low, we still had a great time.
Participants walked around Wintersmith Park for a scavenger hunt. Several active play stations were set up around the walking track.
The Koolaid provided by KaBoom was great!
Everyone in attendance signed the KaBoom beach ball and we will send it to KaBoom tomorrow.
Play Day events across the country are going on this week and all of them include signatures on the beach ball. Signatures are to show that many in our country are excited about being active especially with their families. And that community parks need to be included in our local areas.
